Get ready for a great St. Patrick’s Day concert with real Irish folk music!

Kelly Sloan & JIG (James, Ian, Greg) have sold out every time they have played a St. Patrick’s Day concert in Ottawa in the last several years.  Come out to the Motel Chelsea on March 15 and hear why!

Purchase advanced tickets on SHOWPASS HERE ($30 plus tax and fees) OR at the door while quantities last ($35 plus tax)

Lunch is available with our kitchen open until 3:30pm. Reservations are strongly suggested—make yours HERE. We are an intimate 85-seat venue, so every seat is a great seat! While we do our best to accommodate all seating requests, they cannot be guaranteed. For the best experience, we recommend making reservations in even numbers (for example, a party of three may be seated with an additional guest). Doors open half an hour before showtime for those who will not be dining with us.

Kelly Sloan, originally from Almonte, will be joined by JIG for a concert of Irish music and song.  Kelly is now based in Toronto and has had a long and successful career performing and recording her own original songs, and that have been played many times on CBC radio.  However, her family and valley roots are rich in the Irish tradition.  Kelly has performed her Irish repertoire at Almonte’s Celtfest, and on multiple St. Patrick’s Days among others, and will be singing a choice selection of Irish ballads and songs accompanied by JIG, who will also play some instrumental selections of jigs, reels, and more, from the Irish tradition.

The three members of JIG are among the best players of traditional celtic music in the region.  Those of you who know the local scene will already be familiar with the playing of James Stephens (fiddle/mandolin/cittern), Ian Clark (guitar), and Greg Brown (fiddle/concertina/banjo/bouzouki).
