Dinner is available with our kitchen open until 9pm. Reservations are strongly suggested—make yours HERE. We are an intimate 85-seat venue, so every seat is a great seat! While we do our best to accommodate all seating requests, they cannot be guaranteed. For the best experience, we recommend making reservations in even numbers (for example, a party of three may be seated with an additional guest). Doors open half an hour before showtime for those who will not be dining with us.

The Paugan Dames emerged out of the cold at a Christmas market from earlier times in Wakefield, Quebec. Alise Marlane and Chris MacLean, both accomplished songwriters, are joined by old time Appalachian and cajun music enthusiast Tina Therrien. Serving up thoughtful, at times playful interpretations of contemporary Canadian folk music, old time, and a cappella music, their harmonies could melt a slab of butter. Spicy guitar, delicate mandolin, and solid stand-up bass create a tasteful backdrop for their rich vocal arrangements.

Chris is an a cappella Community Choir leader, a Voice Movement Therapy practitioner and an insightful singer/songwriter, accompanying herself on guitar, mandolin, ukulele, piano, and dulcimer. Alise utilizes a unique jazz-folk fingerpicking style to complement her contemplative songwriting and silky voice. Tina brings years of choral experience and a love of traditional music to the table. Their individual strengths add to the dynamics of the group. Alise Marlane and Chris MacLean each have recordings of original music available.

Local singer songwriter Paul Hampsey enjoys reflecting on the state of the planet, love, laughter and sharing his insights in song. He aims to inspire hope and harmony with each other and with the joys of nature.
