Dinner is available with our kitchen open until 9pm. Reservations are strongly suggested—make yours HERE. We are an intimate 85-seat venue, so every seat is a great seat! While we do our best to accommodate all seating requests, they cannot be guaranteed. For the best experience, we recommend making reservations in even numbers (for example, a party of three may be seated with an additional guest). Doors open half an hour before showtime for those who will not be dining with us.

Join award-winning prairie songstress, Mallory Chipman, for an intimate night of songs and stories at the Chelsea Motel. Celebrated for her multi-octave voice and powerful narrative storytelling, Chipman has been making waves in the Canadian roots scene, drawing comparison to artists like Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell, and opening for the likes of Jann Arden, Madeleine Peyroux, and singing back-up for Heart. You won’t want to miss her larger than life stage presence brought to a small and cozy stage, so grab your tickets in advance!

Fresh off the heels of her fifth studio album release, Mallory Chipman’s signature brand of “cinematic folk-rock” is making waves in the Canadian roots scene. Her latest record, Songs to a Wild God, hit #1 on CKUA upon its release, #5 on the Folk Alliance International charts, and was one of the only indie albums to debut in the National Radio Top 50. Songs to a Wild God displays Mallory’s vivid lyricism and acrobatic vocals atop a deft and dynamic rhythm section, and “places her amidst the longer tradition of the great singer-songwriters” (Americana UK). In the past year alone, Chipman has toured across Canada, Europe, and Asia, turning heads at major showcases and drawing comparison to Kate Bush, Alison Krauss, and Joni Mitchell. With her skillful balance of grit and grace; of contemporary protest songs, bare confessionals, and witty charm, Mallory Chipman powerfully embodies a rare and striking duality that leaves audiences wordless in wonderment.
